DVD night

Last night I had my 'party' - actually, it was just a DVD night. Other than Chris and myself, 3 people turned up - this is quite a good turn out in terms of my events but it was a lot less than I was expecting (as always).  I have to say I was a bit disappointed but at least there was plenty of food and I still have some cheesecake left.  We watched Up simply because it's an awesome film - I'm just gutted that I have to give it back (I borrowed it from a friend) and then Sleepy Hollow as I'd never seen it before.  I missed a lot of it as there were interruptions in the way of pizza and people chatting so I didn't really get into it which is slightly annoying.

Not much has happened since as I've just been trying to relax, I didn't get to sleep til quite late, and now am exhausted - I  took another nap today even though I was aiming to just rest.  But when you have nothing else to do and it's warm and dark the body tends to respond.  At least I'm not in quite as much pain now.
