Hair Dye Sunday

Today I dyed my hair - but in reality it seems that the dye only took to the bottom half of my hair giving me very light 'roots' over pretty much my whole head.  I am not impressed - I have dyed my hair many times and never had a problem so why didn't it take today?  It's so annoying.

In other news - not much has happened.  I rang my Mum to tell her 'Happy Mother's Day' and then we talked for an hour.  This happens everytime I ring her, between us we can talk for hours.  And I have done the washing up, spent far too long on facebook, and read quite a bit of Tropic of Capricorn by Henry Miller.  I'm a little behind as I should have finished it by now but can only read in very small chunks without feeling exhausted (and that's reading anything so you can imagine what Miller does to me).  I'm actually really enjoying it.  I can see how it could be controversial but honestly I appeciate the straight-forward tone and his matter-of-fact style.  This is one of the few books I can see myself rereading again and again (and possibly even maiming with a highlighter and pen - tragic I know).
