Resting Whinge
Lately I've been resting a lot more and these rests often turn into afternoon naps that last about an hour. This seems like a really good idea except I seem to be waking up more tired than I was. However, today I didn't fall asleep but my second rest lasted over half an hour. Yet when I woke up my M.E. was much worse than it had been when I'd been doing things. I was always told to rest before you need it but this seems to be detrimental for me. I don't really know what to do. I don't want to let myself burn out before resting but nor do I want to make my M.E. worse by resting too much. I seem to have reached a point where neither works and I'm in a never ending doomed circle. Sorry to be a little depressing but the amount I haven't been able to is beginning to get me down. I guess I'll just have to keep trying slightly different things to see what effect they have and see if I can find something that will actually help rather than hinder.
