#13 A Happy Birthday

to my Nannie.  I don't know how old she is today, and I'm sure if I did know she wouldn't want me to share it with the net anyway.
This is my Nannie with my Dad (her son) taken last year.  Unfortunately we don't get many photo opportunities as I don't see her as often as I'd like due to being at uni.

It's strange how when I think of my grandparents I can only access very little snippets or flashes of memory.  But I remember than my Nannie taught me to do my apron up behind my back (I do it automatically now and can't remember how she taught me).  I remember that whenever we stayed overnight, she would keep our pajamas in the airing cupboard so that they were toasty warm when it was time for bed. Breakfast was always cereal followed by toast and jam, or, on very special occasions, croissants.  As I said, I really don't remember much and what I do remember is very difficult to put into words.  But I wanted to say a public Happy Birthday even though she won't read it as I love my Nannie and am thinking of her.
