#6 Voting

Today I voted.  This was my first time ever and gave me a strange sense of elation - I was doing my bit for the future of my country.  Even if who I voted for isn't the majority vote I know that I have contributed in some small way.  I am proud of myself.  Normally I am far too lazy to make the effort for things like this.  So it is a personal achievement more than anything.  And it meant I left the house which I haven't really been able to do for the past few days.

    Fun for you guys! I've been listening to a little about the British Prime Minister elections--they don't cover a whole lot over here in the States, but more than usual. It's pretty interesting stuff. It'll be fun to see how it plays out (the world's been having so much election drama lately--it's a little exciting!)
